B.O.D.

Dear Terry Ryan,

Perhaps it should be a contract year for Sweetcheeks every year?

Thoughtfully,

Torii has never reminded me more of Kirby than he does this year. You can just see him telling the team to climb on his back. He's playing hard, he's having fun, he's being Torii, and let's hope he can breathe some life into this season! They're not dead yet!

An honorary BOD for The Boof the Boof the Boof is on fi-yah?

BOOM, indeed.

Torii is so sexy. He should just be boyfriend forever.

Posted by: Donnalove at May 18, 2007 10:15 PM

and can Cirillo play every game like he's still in Miller Stadium?

Posted by: Jimmy at May 18, 2007 10:28 PM

What an amazing BOOM that was! Thanks Torii for truely making my day!!!

The Twins have 19 wins. Win #19 was Boof's gem tonight. Win #18 was Boof's well-supported win against the Tigers last Sunday. Win #18 was Boof's 1 ER 7 strikeout no-decision in an extra-inning win against the BitchSox on May 8th.

Boof may have to be Boyfriend Of The Month on principle.

Hurrah!!!!! Ditto to Donnalove. Torii=Boyfriend forever!!!

Sigh. My day is now complete.

Boof. Sittin' down the bitches. *big-ass grin* W00T!! Go Babycakes!! He is *so* my backup boyfriend.

Posted by: wc at May 19, 2007 01:56 AM

It's great to see the W column again! Seems like it's been awhile since the last time. With Joe out, Torii's the one hitter where I'll drop everything to watch. Things aren't going so well these days and since Gardy is in the order swapping mood (viz. Bartlett/Punto) why not swap Cuddy and Torii?

What a game. Kinda felt bad for the two Brew Crew fans in the household, heh, having to hear me cheer and whoop it up in the basement. Oh well, too bad, so sad ;)

Huge kudos to Boof for his career-high-K night. Three hits against a suddenly-powerful Milwaukee lineup. Man. That was fun to watch.

Torii Torii Torii. Jeff Jeff Jeff. Those, too, were uber-fun to watch. Made fans veeery happy. Y'know, just sayin.'

I feel the same about ol' Boof.

I really do.

Let's hope we have another year like last year in interleague play.

We won !?!?!??! Yes we won and we slamed and we Boofed and it was good.

Posted by: twin-X at May 19, 2007 09:40 AM

It's so nice to get a W again. Speaking of Boof!, has anyone seen/heard an interview with him?? He has a great voice! It's so deep and kinda sexy . . . I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin.

BBR,

Boof does indeed have a lovely voice. I enjoy listening to his interviews. He's got a great laugh, too.

TwinsPrincess (who can't believe we won).

all-

what a difference a day makes. Friday's game rocked, shimmied, and double flipped.

BIG NOTE TO TWINS BRAINTRUST: SIGN TORII NOW!

It will be completely sucky if we have to watch him grand slam for another outfit. come on. SPEND IT.

cheers, kal

Having grown up in Minnesota and now living in Milwaukee, it was a difficult decision as to who to root for at the game last night. I was at Miller Park and it was as perfect a night as it gets for baseball.

The bases were loaded when Torii Hunter came up to bat. I said to my friend, "Oh, this could be bad for the Brewers." My friend looked at the scoreboard and shrugged, "He wasn't successful his last at-bat." I replied, "Oh, but this man can hit. He's due."

Grand Slam.

Very happy for Jeff Cirillo, too. He was so gracious about signing my baseball before a game in Fort Myers this past March that he will forever be one of my favorite players. I was tickled to see him on the line-up last night. But I sure would like to see the Brewers start winning again...

Yep, That's MY boyfriend! My husband looks at me funny when I said after the grand slam "he's so pretty."
This contract business has me worried. Yay Batgirl!
