B.O.D.

Dear Gwynn, I don't know. I need oxygen. Does anyone have any oxygen? This should probably go to the President, or the VP or Li'l Rod, but you know Batgirl's apoplectic right now and the sight of Lew Ford chugging around the bases just made Batgirl so very, very happy, and frankly Batgirl doesn’t know how many more times she's going to get to do this, so for the dinger putting the Twins on the board and ensuring we won't get shut out by the Royals, not to mention some mad hustle later in the game, and for bringing so much joy into Batgirl's life with all that crazy voodoo you do…

PUT IT ON THE BOARD ... YES. See it's much better when it's for you team. I bet Hawk still hasn't recovered yet.

I am reposting my observation: Does Mike Redmond remind any one else of Bruce Willis with hair?? Or am I full of crap?

LNP was miked tonight. I liked his encouraging words for Santana and how he whistled along with the organ during his at-bat. It was also fun to hear them talk about how they all still smelled of champagne!

The Royals are supposed to be easy. That was not easy.

sadly, I think these boys all need a good night's sleep more than anything - that and a bit of rehydration. *snort*

even Gardy looked hungover.

Anybody catch the comments by Blyleven after reading that official "this game may not be disseminated, blah blah blah"? He joked that he read it every night while in bed, and then dropped this gem: "I tell [my wife] Gayle that she can't disseminate..."

Ummmm...

Good to see Lew getting some love, Batgirl, he must feel a bit left out these days. And I'm sure that Jeb is way above trying to unduly influence the BODSHC.

Can't argue with that. Way to go Lew fordwalker. And fish glue is supposedly back on Thursday :-)

I know that this has nothing to do with the BOD, but if I don't put it on now, it won't be running across my ISP new later. Click on my name for the link!

Around here, he's affectionately known as Lewford. And it was absolutely fabulous to sit in left field tonight and see him there and to watch him bat.

Secondly, I have tickets to Thursday night's game also and I'm very excited to see Radke take the mound once again, no matter what happens.

Look at the picture (Twins homepage) of the Twins celebrating on the field Monday night. Is that Terry Tiffee, or the Grinch?

Posted by: jimbaseball at September 26, 2006 10:56 PM

Thank Lew!

I was hoping against all hope that he would have to get another hit or something to get mention here...

Makes me even prouder to wear my autographed Ford jersey...

awww i call him lewford too! like stanford, only with lew.

"and frankly Batgirl doesn’t know how many more times she's going to get to do this..."

What, exactly, does this mean? Is this something I should worry about? Are you...Jesus (as in Johan's Dad), I can barely bring myself to write it...considering retiring?

Yes, I caught Bert's "desseminated) (sp?) remark and warned him out loud to watch out for those types of things after the er...........incident. Silly Bert.

He's my boyfriend
He's not your boyfriend
He does not love you
He only loves me
'Cause he's my boyfriend!

(Time for a late season BOD charge, Lew!)

Great choice, BG. How could you not feel good for him as he rounded the bases last night? Of course, you also had to feel terrific for Luis who, after being sent up to pinch-bunt, found himself needing to actually hit the ball hard somewhere to drive in the winning RBI. Neither of those guys have picked up a bat in a game often enough the past 2 months to really be expected to come through and last night, that's exactly what they did. Well done.

slovenia, I'm guessing (and hoping) that what BG is alluding to is that Mr Ford may find himself on another team's roster next season... not that BG will be abducted by aliens (or Red Sox) and abandon us.

twinsfan, personally, I think that Redmond looks more like John C. McGinley (Dr Cox from "Scrubs") than he does Bruce Willis... but that's just my opinion.
