Pictures. Green pictures.

Do not adjust your monitors. Move away from the controls. There's nothing wrong with your television set. I mean computer. I mean, there might be--how do I know? I'm not freakin' psychic.

I'm a little leprechaun!

What I'm saying is, yes, the Twins are dressed in green uniforms. You are not losing your mind. I mean you may be, but... Well, anyway, it was all in honor of Saint Patrick's Day. Or it would have been, had Thursday's game not been rained out and rescheduled for Friday night. So, you know, it's like Boxing Day, St. Paddy's Style. And Insider took pictures.

Shouldn't Silva be "Verde"?

Hey, no fair! I didn't realize we were playing Red Light, Green Light!

Posted by: mk at March 19, 2005 03:03 AM

The Reds are the club that started the spring training tradition of wearing green uniforms on St. Patrick's Day. What's with the red, boys?

Hey! Christmas in March! Thanks for the Green pictures! (Why didn't the Reds wear green? Are they red-green colorblind?)

Posted by: Just Beth at March 19, 2005 09:26 AM

frightwig-

I would venture a guess that both teams wearing the same color would be confusing.

In all those pictures i didn't see the true leprecaun of the team..Nick Punto!

hey-- who are the guys in the 4th & 9th pics? lookin' pretty good boys...

Posted by: kate at March 19, 2005 01:03 PM

Bo,

Eric Munson is nine. I was also going to mention that it was a good picture. We should let him be green more often.

Posted by: ForMorneau at March 19, 2005 02:19 PM

That Corky Miller in the 4th picture. Little Nicky didn't get out there till my disk was full, so it'll be another year to get him in green. The comments I got from the guys today was a year is fine, they didn't like green uni's.

Posted by: insider at March 19, 2005 02:53 PM

I personally love green... but it looks gross on the Twins. No offense to the boys, though.

Posted by: Nicole at March 19, 2005 08:10 PM

Thank goodness it's only once a year...and not on television.

Posted by: bubblemint at March 19, 2005 09:04 PM

lol, was it last year that they all complained the green unis were too small? The green is cute...but once a year is enough.

Oh, and Munson is pretty.

I am as Irish as the next guy (maybe moreso - about 1/2) but, man, those green hats are the WORST. The green jerseys are okay, but the hats are awful.

Once a year is enough.

Win Twins!

On a happy note: I watched (on teevee) the Saturday Spring Training game and Joe Mays went 5 scoreless innings. On a mediocre note, our guys loaded the bases twice without getting anyone across.... :( Only run scored was a Terry Tiffee solo HR.

Win Twins!

Eric,

Confusing, because they wouldn't know which players to pass the ball to?

Posted by: frightwig at March 20, 2005 01:23 PM

Nah, confusing to the people who my sister refers to as "butts" because they are down in Florida for vacation and go to a ballgame but aren't real baseball fans. ;)

It's not easy being green.
