Those creepy foam lights always freaked me out while I was over in Japan-land.. Cool picture of Joe. As far as Brit/whassisface Does this really surprise anyone? It's sad even in her home-state people shun her(lived there also.) Who did happen to win the ticket of BG voting?

l.h. girl, yes Joe really is in Japan for some MLB stars series against the Japan stars. The MLB stars have swept Japan in the five game series which no team has ever done.

I heard that there was a team back in the days of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig that swept a 17-game series against Japan in 1935...

Hey Wonder Woman! I'm sure you rock the jeans/loafers combo like no one else. I think Joe's feet are just so far away from the rest of him, it just looks odd for some reason. And, of course, I'm just hoping he takes me up the offer to be his stylist. Can you picture it? "Nope that's not quite right. Take it off and try this one on instead. Nope. Now this one. Nope. I'm bummed about the lack of Lost after tonight too. But! I've recently started watching Heroes which is comparable in quality to Lost, so I'll have that as solace.

While Johan didn't win any public office, he did win an election of sorts. He was voted Outstanding AL Pitcher of the Year in the annual Players Choice Awards. Justin Verlander was Outstanding AL Rookie. Frank Thomas got the nod for AL Comeback Player of the Year. And Jermaine Dye won AL Outstanding Player. If I had a million dollars for every time I said I'd like to have Jermaine Dye on my team this year, I would have enough money to actually buy a team. You can read all about the awards on MLB.com.

As for Britney, she remains a complete enigma to me. She's got two X chromosomes, she's got 35 million dollars, and yet she doesn't seem to own a single pair of shoes. At least she's finally shedding the one heel she does have.

Why do I feel like that picture is not photoshopped? All Star Game, anyone? I had that picture of him and Scott Kazmir with their video cameras at the Home Run Derby as my desktop for about two weeks. He's kind of a dorky tourist sometimes, which is why we love him.

Soil and Water Board...my best friend's dad won that seat in our hometown yesterday. There were two seats open. Two men ran. It was a tight race.

heh, I'm noticing a trend.. if you were a late '90's/early '00's pop princess, you should not have a reality TV show.. you will end up getting divorced. Cases in point: Brit and K-Fed, Nick and Jessica..
So if you see Mandy Moore or Christina Aguilera tell them to just say NO to reality TV!

I voted for Joe last night. can't remember what office, but I'm sad to say he didn't win it.

Have to say the players did real well with the Players Choice Awards. Hard to argue with any of the choices.

Hope you are all voting for the many Twins showing up in the "This Year in Baseball" Awards. If nothing else, go and watch the videos. Watching the highlights for Joe-Joe and Justin made me remember all the great, great memories that the sad end of the season maybe made us forget. Go, watch, and smile. IT WAS A GREAT YEAR!

First of all, it's nice to see the Chairman again. I love what he's wearing, even if it ISN'T stylish. Anyway, going to Japan sounds like fun. Also, I really don't care about Britney Spears. She's an idiot. Does anyone else know what's special about today? It's LNP's birthday! He's 29 years old today. I wish him a very happy birthday.

I had the fortunate opportunity to watch the Joes at the MLB/NPB All-Star Game #3. The Chairman's homerun was beautiful. So was staring at his fine ass as he warmed up before the game...

His touristy nature is cute. Why couldn't I have run into Joe on the Tokyo streets so as to declare my Minnesota-born love for him?! Ugh.
