Let us hope Garza finds his stuff. Bat-girl if I may do a little bit of stats. So far he is 0-1 with a *gasp* 23.62 *cough* ERA. no ware to go but up (I hope).

Before everyone gets too down on Garza, let's remember that his last time out was his 1st time out in the big leagues. I would guess he was having a slight adrenaline rush, causing him to over-throw. Over-throwing will make any breaking pitch ineffective, and if I remember correctly, he couldn't throw a curve or slider to save his life in that game. He was therefore limitted to only having a fastball and change-up. Any pitcher with only his fastball and change-up working is going to get rocked. I'm predicting that tomorrow he'll be a little more calm, will be able to use all of his pitches, and will give a solid performance. (Please prove me right Matt)

After Mauer's sac-fly I hurried off to the break room to hear Cuddy's at bat bc I had a feeling he was going to send it over the wall. I love it when my intuitions are right.

We stranded 10 guys in 7 innings. Yikes. At least we were hitting some stuff though... no ass battery. Well, at the wrong moments anyway.

The little sister (the Royals) beat the crap out of her big brother (the Bitchsox) and made me very happy. Good night in baseball.

Yeah, KittyDoggy, Garza himself said that he "couldn't stop shaking" after the first inning - he was definitely running on too much adrenaline. Hopefully he'll be able to bring it down a bit today and do what we all know he can do, which is sit them thar' bitches down.

I was having fun cheering in the eighth inning. I couldn't help but shout when DJ Cuddles totally redeemed himself by hitting that amazing three-run homer. I was (luckily) the only one in the room when Barty made that AWESOME stop-and-throw to first base. I was saying, "I love you, Barty" and I was glad my parents weren't there because I get enough weird looks just by calling the players by their nicknames and I didn't need any more weird looks for telling Barty how amazingly cool I think he is and how much I love him. I was very happy when Marney Gellner interviewed him after the game. Dang, I wish I had that woman's job...*sigh* His sweet voice makes me melt. I hung on to his every word. KEEP IT UP, TWINS!
