I wonder how Nomar will feel when he hears all of us Minnesotans actually pronouncing (and perhaps even over-pronouncing) all of the the "R"'s in his name?

I said earlier in the off season (which sucks btw)that Nomar would be a good fit for your team. All Star player when healthy that you could get at a Pohlad approved price, that actully can help your team. Now what happens to NPTSH ?

I think if you can get 130-140 games out of Nomar it will be a big help to your team. He will bat around .280. 25-30 hr 110 rbi and he plays above average defense. LNP can play second I would imagine.

Mike - For Nomar to get 110 RBIs he's going to have to have runners on in front of him, something the Twins were sadly unable to do with much regularity this past season. Considering the offense he'll be hitting behind, I'd say he could do about 70-80. LNP would platoon at 2nd with Castro I imagine, the real question is what to do with Bartlett.

I don't see this one happening, personally, but I wouldn't frown on it.

"if" he stays healthy. That's a pretty big "if". I liked the way Bartlett came on toward the end so I'd hate to see him given up on. Maybe Nomar at 3B? Regardless, I don't see him as the "answer" but possibly one part of it. Combine it with a solid DH and you'll start getting my attention.

Nomar should play second or third if anywhere. Bartlett has some nice, nice (improving) range at SS.

I agree with JimCrikket and Neil about playing Nomar at third. Keep Bartlett at short and let Cuddyer, Punto and Castro fight it out for 2nd.

And, I wouldn't mind seeing Mia Hamm make an occasional Metrodome appearance.

However, I doubt the Twins would ever spring for what Garciaparra will cost.

I take a pass on Nomar. I am not sure what will he can bring to this table considering his health and all. Plus I sure as heck don't want to see his negative attitude permeate the clubhouse. We already have enough of those guys as it is. I am not even sure if the Twins are even Nomar's first choice anyway so forget him.
