The boys were so congratulatory and sincere towards Johan after he pitched his last inning today(Sunday)-hugs and pats all around. A real nice moment of Johan and his pitching coach with an arm around each other's shoulders.
Season opener is April 4 in Toronto. My school district has Spring Break that week. yahoo.
We are planning on being there. I need that carrot out there way in front to make it until: Twins fest, which is ok but so far from a real game. Spring training--better, but the games are practice. April 4-most wonderful. Until then do we cheer on the Chicago Sox? Go Bitch Sox? I was all set for watching and supporting Cleveland. Sheesh,they sure disintegrated quickly. Go whoever is playing against the Yankees and BoSox too. Beat 'em.
It's been real swell reading all of the comments and Bat Girl's excellent words of baseball. I appreciate having an outlet for an occasional cheer or comment.
What happens to BG now that the Twins are, well, done? Close up shop? Go to Hawaii?

He's probably not going to win the Cy Young this year, no matter how much he deserves it, but he's put together an incredible string of seasons.
Another very worthy mention goes to the Nathannator. He has as many saves and the same W-L as Mariano Rivera, who is somehow a Cy Young frontrunner, and his other numbers aren't far behind his. For the second straight year, Nathan has turned in a great season.
What a presidential ticket this turned out to be.
