B.O.D.

Normally, with only one TBB playing, BG would set the boyfriend status to honorary, but there's nothing honorary about getting 4 RBIs and singlehandedly accomplishing Batgirl's Plan For Ultimate Victory, and that makes DJ Cuddles Boyfriend of the Day.

Readers/Field 23, Sooz/Stewie 14, Jeb/Lewwww 13, Batgirl/ Joe 11, Goober/Dr. Morneau 9.

Wow. After a day at work when nothing goes right, it's nice when your boyfriend picks you up! Thanks for recognizing his great achievement.

Yay for not honorary!! Hooray DJ!!

He totally EARNED this one.. way to go Cuddy.

I am almost speechless. I feel like that woman on the Emmys who lost her acceptance speech down her dress. It is such a wonderful treat to see a game like this, with my boy playing so well, on the last day of summer. Makes winter a little less ugly.

Getting to see the dimpled smile, and getting to hear the amazing voice of Michael Cuddyer....it's awesome.

Congratulations, Michael! You totally deserve this! :-D

Way to go Cuddyer! This is all the input I can muster . . .

that was really great! congrats to BOD, he totally deserved it. maybe he hits better if he plays in the outfield?

USAToday named Liriano the minor league player of the year

WOW!! What a game for DJ--definitely deserves BOD!! The drives he hit today were awesome. The look and glow on DJ's face between innings in the OF while talking to fans was worth all the dollars I am paying for his dingers.

Yeah, Cuddyer has put a sizeable dent in my wallet, too :) I love him all the more for it. I had to do a double-take when I got home and saw the game recap - simply amazing. Too bad we, once again, couldn't spread all the runs around all three games. Ah, well, it was nice to stomp the opposing team today, and (almost) all thanks to you, Mr. Cuddyer.

Just plain awesome.

Did you see that boy sittin' on the bench grinnin' like a fool? Heartwarming.

Posted by: closetJaysfan at September 21, 2005 09:31 PM

Cool. It's a good thing I got that raise. Keep it up, Cuddy. That game was a lot of fun.

And wasn't he just cuddly in the post-game interview?

We in Chicago are seeing even a BIGGER black hole and it is Cleveland.

I figure we need 4 lousy wins to get us into the ALDS and thank you lord we have the Detroit Kitties to play next week.

But I have a gut feeling the Twins will hurt us this weekend.

But it could be worse, we could be Boston fans who are seeing their team blow it as well, as of this morning they woukld not make it

yahoo DJ Cuddles! that was an inspired performance.

from Oakland:

Kennedy (3-4) was hurt Wednesday by A's killer Michael Cuddyer, who has hit five of his 12 home runs this year against the A's. Cuddyer hit a solo homer in the second and a big two-run, two-out double in the third.

also: "Cuddyer killed us all year. He was pretty much a one-man wrecking crew," A's manager Ken Macha said.

But of course.

Kbro:

I wished I had watched the post-game interview--unfortunately MLB extra innings--the only way I get Twins games on the east coast--cuts the game off immediately when they go to Toyota post-game wrap.

Posted by: DC Twins Fan at September 22, 2005 11:12 AM

If you go to the Twins team page on Foxsports.com, you can watch the interview again. I don't have cable, so I always have to watch the post-game interviews there.

I think there should be a special B.O.D. award or just an award in general for the player that hits the most dingers for dollars. It sure seems like Cuddy has been encouraged by the DFD, maybe the other guys would hit some dingers if they thought that in the end they weren't just raising money, but maybe getting an award out of too. If there is an award, it is a tight race, and I am cheering for Cuddy 100%!
