You know, Juan Rincon has almost pitched 1000 at bats in his time in the majors, and he's given up less than 20 home runs. That's pretty fantastic.

An argument could be made for Kyle Lohse (who'd've thought we'd say THAT coming into this year?), if nothing else for getting out of the first inning alive! It's nice to have so many guys playing with the heart and soul we know they have that we can argue. Congratulations, Lewwww, on winning the honor. You deserve it.

We all need to recognize that, today, Lyle has left the building and Kyle is here to stay, at least through September. Last year I never would have envisioned the day when I read a post-game recap on espn.com that said Lohse had been out-dueled. Let's start hitting and catch those damn Yankees and the Los Angeles A-holes of Aneheim for the wild card, then beat the Second City Bitches in the AL Championship Series. (Naturally the A's will win the AL West, so we shouldn't worry about them)
