Field/Readers 17, Sooz/Stewie 11, Jeb/Lewwww 10, Batgirl/ Joe 8, Goober/Dr. Morneau 7.
Now if you'll excuse Batgirl, she needs a cigarette.
Posted by Batgirl at August 12, 2005 11:31 PMThe sad thing about that game....we were one hit away from Santana getting at least a no decision out of that.
Posted by: KittyDoggy at August 12, 2005 11:40 PMSantana=BOD. HELL yeah.
Posted by: Katharriet at August 12, 2005 11:42 PMTHANK GOD.

Masterful game JKS, Masterful Game.
why with the negativity? We won! take it! embrace it!
Posted by: aurora at August 13, 2005 12:02 AMYup.
Did anyone stay up late enough to tell me if I was on TV on Wednesday night? I figure that in fourteen innings, my odds were pretty good, especially since most of the actual Mariners fans left in the bottom of the 12th.
You'd know me because my "Circle Me Bert" sign had a shout out to Batgirl on it.
Anyone?
Posted by: TwinsGoddess at August 13, 2005 12:08 AMI'm not sure, by the 14th inning, most of the people still in the game thread were pretty out of it...
I heard Jones may be going to the DL. Something happen in this game? I was at work (again)
Posted by: Torhu at August 13, 2005 03:42 AMMy brother and I were at the game tonight (2nd deck, 3rd base side) and let me tell you, it was B-E-A-utiful. A work of art. A masterpiece.
You guys probably know this already, but I'm stuck out here in CA, so this is my first time seeing Johan in person... TV really doesn't do justice to his stupifying effect on hitters. It's hilarious.
Great game. GREAT game.
P.S. - We're going tomorrow, too. ;)
Posted by: Freez at August 13, 2005 03:42 AMJoy. Rapture. Johan, you are a beautiful specimin of pitcherhood.
Posted by: CarrieICL at August 13, 2005 06:53 AMAh, it was like a Johan 2004 highlight reel.
Freez, can you testify that a night game at Oakland is about as cold as a Martian winter? Minnesota can't rival it.
Dearest Goddess,
We watched for you. Alas, no Circling. There was really very little circling at all during that game.
Regretfully,
BG
Affirmative, Jeb. When the fog comes in, it's frozen-in-carbonite cold.
The temperature for last night's game was poyfect, tho.
We're off to the game to get our replica Eckersley jerseys... if they'll give them to Twins fans. ;)
Posted by: Freez at August 13, 2005 11:45 AMwow.. just wow...
nothing like a group of women getting together, drinking, and watching a man do his sexy thing. That was better than any bachelorette party I have ever been to.
Posted by: CapitalBabs at August 13, 2005 11:54 AMAbsolutely AMAZING! The only way it could have been better is if I could have watched it with Babs and her clan!
Great job Johan!
