While I sat at the game listening to the wonderful sounds of bats cracking, I looked at what was slowly but surely becoming a full scorecard and I was wondering how ever would Batgirl decide on the B.O.D?? Then after tallying up the totals on the bus ride home it became clear.

Shannon is and always will be worthy in my book.

I like it that the boys on BBTN call him "the Great Shannon Stewart". And last night was a fine example why.

According to the Twins website, his wrist is still sore and it's affecting his batting. Really? I'd like to see him when his wrist is healthy.

Excellent choice for BOD. First of all, Shannon (beating my head against the wall to get rid of "My Shannona") deserved it, and secondly, no one wants to face the wrath of Sooz.

I agree that NBP had a super night. Micky Ryan had his one great at-bat, and JustIncredible had a great inning (what with a great defensive play and a superb offensive play). Jesse's pitching was downright amazing and got his seventh win, and Joe got his 20th save.

But when you have so many choices for BOD, it's always a good thing. We appreciate the hard work of deciding on just one, and bow to the superior mind who knows best.
