Posted by Goober at May 26, 2005 11:13 PMIf I had a dollar for every clutch homerun he's hit this year.
Well, I'd have a some dollars of an amount that would be quite impressive.
*realizes he forgot to count*
Posted by: Torhu at May 26, 2005 11:21 PMThat is soooo disturbing, Goober.
Posted by: Batgirl at May 26, 2005 11:21 PMOh holy hell, not even any warning this time. Just...there it was, and nothing I could do about it. Post-GirlTwins Stress Disorder coming on.
And WTF? I can't listen to the rest of the game because my car is in the shop and I have to pick it up and return the rental car to the airport and get myself home from work singlehandedly, and I entrust the game-watching to you folks, thinking, "Gee, 4-1, that's a pretty comfortable place for me to leave the game-watching and drive two cars and take a bus and the light rail..." What did you let happen?!?!?
Okay, I guess all's well that ends well. Sorry to blow up like that.
Posted by: twink at May 26, 2005 11:33 PMOh, but the "My Sharona" riff was really funny.
Posted by: twink at May 26, 2005 11:35 PMFirst repsonse: Ack!* No time to steel myself.
But "My Shannona?" Bwah! :-D
(*Not a reflection on BOD of choice, just the photo)
Posted by: pollyannah at May 26, 2005 11:44 PMrepsonse=response. Shook up so much, can't spell.
Posted by: pollyannah at May 26, 2005 11:45 PMYou know... I just listened to the song... and he got the riff pretty well!
Posted by: Jacesen at May 26, 2005 11:46 PMshouldn't that be G.O.D?
Posted by: IcePhoenix at May 27, 2005 12:36 AMWhy? oh god Why did you have to use THAT picture? Now i wont be able to sleep for a few more hours. Goober, youre lucky i havent found a job for the summer yet...
Posted by: TwinsInBoston at May 27, 2005 02:39 AMPerhaps the choice of picture is an expression of latent hostility towards his wife's Boyfriend?? Goober, do you feel neglected when Stewie is having a B.O.D. kind of night? Look at Sooz, and tell her how that makes you feel....
Posted by: frightwig at May 27, 2005 05:08 AMI'm glad I didn't see that pic before I went to bed. How very distressing.
Posted by: Anita at May 27, 2005 05:48 AMWow. That picture is going to make it easier to stay away and actually work.
But My Shannona. Perfect.
Posted by: aurora at May 27, 2005 06:58 AMGoober! I haven't had my coffee yet! Don't do that to me!
And Yay Stewie!
Posted by: ndtf at May 27, 2005 08:06 AMIt's not nice to turn boyfriends into girlfriends when people have just awoken, Goober. It messes us up.
Posted by: infield at May 27, 2005 08:42 AM*snirt*
Posted by: CarrieIC at May 27, 2005 08:54 AMYeah...like, don't think that song won't be running through everyone's brain when Stewart comes to bat now...
Hysterical.
Posted by: BAT bandwagoner at May 27, 2005 09:22 AMOH man... I am laughing too hard now. Goob, what a horrible way to start a Holiday WEEKEND!!
still, as a music lover, that was just classic. Hell, I'm going to be humming that to myself all day now.
Posted by: CapitalBabs at May 27, 2005 09:30 AMI always think of Stewie from Family Guy. "Victory shall be mine!" It's just so fitting.
Posted by: ndtf at May 27, 2005 09:30 AMShannon should just change his song to this one.
Posted by: bubblemint at May 27, 2005 10:03 AMThat's just foul.
Posted by: LaurieNY at May 27, 2005 10:35 AMI am disturbed to see that picture..But i agree...Shannon=B/G.O.D
HI-larious. Absosmurfly HI-larious. Well done goober. Disturbing all the while, but this hot desert sun is getting to me, and, well, it used to make me cringe, now you add in the song, and i just laugh.
Posted by: Tinger at May 27, 2005 10:40 AMgoing to take a lot of beer this weekend to erase that image from my mind!
haha, but I think I can do it! Yay STEWIE!
Posted by: Mic at May 27, 2005 11:29 AMMic-
Never back down from a challenge!
A lot of beer, a sledgehammer, and that computer program from "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind."
Posted by: LaurieNY at May 27, 2005 11:54 AMLuckily I will be spending my weekend in the land of mouse-powered dial-up (I think the gerbil gets weekends off). I have long since learned not to even try to do anything on the computer while I'm there, so by the time I come back on Tuesday, this will all be a distant memory. Besides, I'll be to busy riding around on the 4-wheeler and chasing cows to think about the picture.
Posted by: ndtf at May 27, 2005 12:05 PMI will let you know if I succeeded on Tuesday..I am guessing the answer will be yes!
"Besides, I'll be to busy..."
I should know better than that. I meant that I will be too busy.
Posted by: ndtf at May 27, 2005 12:51 PMI love you, Stewie!
