Actually, mr.-bro took our two sons. I'm not feeling well, so I didn't go. I guess they got there between 7:30 and 7:45. They were lucky enough to get to wait under the overhang, and not in the rain.

The bitch Sox just waited out Zambrano for the Bullpen. He threw a ton of pitches, walked a lot of guys, hit a couple...they didn't even need to swing. They knew the cubbies couldn't keep Zambrano in after 100 pitches beyond the sixth, not after his bout with "tennis elbow." They just waited him out of the game.

Then the bullpen got involved. Curse the Chicago Cubs bullpen, all the lot of ya, for blowing this game.

That has to be the worst way to win a baseball game, but one of the most effective: hammer a teams weakness. When you play the Yanks, pull the ball in play: They can't defend. When you play the Cubs, get to their pen: They can't pitch. When you play the Mets, run wild on teh basepaths: Piazza can't throw you out. When you're in KC, show up to the ballpark: they can't play.

Good Lord, they're...wow. Those are really good pictures :-D I really wish I could have gone to that signing, but it would have taken me two and half hours to get to Monticello.
