It's moving day down in Florida--time to pack up all the old geezer pitchers and rookie shortstops and head home.

Batgirl wants to extend a huge BatThanks to Art from Fort Myers, Insider, and everyone else who sent photos for the edification of those of us stuck in the depths of the baseball-less winter. In the next couple of weeks, Batgirl will compile all the wonderful spring training pictures into thumbnails for your easy access, and for now, well...here's one last look at the boys of Spring.

No, no, not YOU guys!

That's better. Don't worry, Boo, this season everyone will want to be in your pants again.

You, too, LeRoy. Really!

Tiny pants.

Gardy pants.

Squatty pants.
See you guys tomorrow, when Batgirl officially opens for business!
i went to this game and took photos, but knowing Art would have much higher quality ones, kept them to myself :-)
Posted by: tim at April 3, 2005 03:41 AMThank you all for the wonderful photos. And thank you Batgirl for presenting them for our enjoyment.
Yours,

They have the Stark article on ESPN's front page right now, with another columnist agreeing with him on the Twinkies winning it all. Also, a pic of Mr. Sweetcheeks running triumphantly.
Let me just say, if we do win it all this year... I can't even put into words how happy it would make me.
That said- long season, gotta play the games, and all that... so let's get going TWINS!!!
Posted by: Eric at April 3, 2005 01:32 PMWill there be a new set of boyfriends this year? I know, most of the team is back, and there's really no reason to dump current boyfriends, especially as they are getting set to start a new season. But I just want to make sure that the relationships are set, before the competetion begins. We wouldn't want any Boyfriend of the Day shenanigans.
Posted by: Craig in MN at April 3, 2005 01:45 PMDear Mr. Craig,
That is an excellent question. Jeb lost his boyfriend this winter and we have to handle his feelings very delicately. We will certainly update everyone before the first B.O.D.!
Seriously,
Batgirl
Thank you wonderful photographers. If it weren't for you guys...I would have forgot what my team looked like..Along with seeing new guys...I thank you and i hope this season your ready to snap away. Thank you once again
Posted by: Bojangles Crain at April 3, 2005 05:10 PMThanks so much for the pictures! What I'll miss most about Spring Training is ArtShots, and pics from other batlings lucky enough to watch the games in Florida
By the way, did anyone else see the Tampa Bay is planning on putting Michael Restovich on waivers, but assuming he won't be picked up, sending him to THEIR minors. He could've stayed on the Twins for all that nonsense! http://tampabay.devilrays.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/article.jsp?ymd=20050401&content_id=990692&vkey=spt2005news&fext=.jsp&c_id=tb
Posted by: Just Beth at April 3, 2005 07:44 PMJust Besth,
Isn't that a good indicator that Terry Ryan was right to waive REsto? I mean, if he cannnot make the Devil Rays after all the "progess" he has made, doesn't that mean that he would have been potentially taking a roster spot (majors or minors) from someone with a shot at being an impact major league player? No offense to Resto, but it would seem to me that the latest developments on Resto in Tampa Bay only confirm that Ryan is a step or two ahead of other GMs when evaluating talent.
