Yes, yes he is. Ft. Myers denizen and fab photographer Art has sent Batgirl the motherlode of fabulous Spring Training Shots. Here a just a few. If you are interested in hi res versions of any of these photographs, just e-mail Batgirl.

We love to see you smile.

You, too.

Yes, but where's the little alien?

Even though Corey is gone, his yoga program has not been forgotten.

Butt shot.

Knee shot.

Gardy shot.
Words cannot describe how much I enjoy these pics. Thanks so much, dearest Insider!!

Posted by: Clovis at March 2, 2005 10:14 PMDearest Stacy,
These are not the work of the wonderful Insider, but rather a new photographer known as "Art."
Helpfully,
Batgirl
Thank goodness I'm off the hook. Great shots, Art! I really should get a lens.
Posted by: insider at March 2, 2005 10:22 PMThese photos are absolutely fantastic. Such a great eye for action and personality!
Art, what kind of camera and lens are you using?
Posted by: Goober at March 2, 2005 10:25 PMYour photos are also fantastic, Insider! Don't change a thing!
Dearest insider,
Not off the hook. Batgirl adores your photos and she needs you. Would you ignore the call of Batgirl?
Love,
Batgirl
I'm going to beg to differ with Stacy and with the complete Oxford English Dictionary, words might be able to express how grateful I am for our Florida Friendly Photographers.
Thanks to all who share them! They are so wonderful and I enjoy them...wait a minute. Stacy's right. There aren't enough words.
THANKS!
Just Beth
Posted by: Just Beth at March 2, 2005 11:48 PMEven my little Luis! I am infinitely grateful...
Posted by: Say Rah! at March 3, 2005 08:37 AMThat's not Art Vandelay, is it?
Posted by: SBG at March 3, 2005 09:27 AMThose are great shots, Art. I, too, am interested in what kind of camera and lens you're using.
Posted by: mmmarkiep at March 3, 2005 09:38 AMGlad you guys like my stuff. I hope to be sending more along via BG throughout the remainder of spring training. My equipment comes from the fine folks at Canon. I have 10D and 20D digital bodies and for lenses I have a 70-200 2.8L IS, a 16-35 2.8L, a EF-S 18-55 3.5/5.6, and a 1.4X Tele-converter.
Later,
Art
Stacy is embarassed because it says right at the top of the page that "Art" took these photos. Oops, lol. Nice job, Art. I also still adore Insider's photos.
Posted by: Stacy at March 3, 2005 09:58 AMoh. You're a Canon guy. Heheh. Just kidding. Wow, you've got some nice glass and it shows in the images. Again, nice work.
Posted by: mmmarkiep at March 3, 2005 11:01 AMGreat Pix!
Gardy looks like he's bowling. Maybe he's trying for another perfect game.
Posted by: k-bro at March 3, 2005 01:05 PMThank you, thank you, thank you for the pictures. Spring is finally here.
Posted by: SoftballSuperstar at March 3, 2005 03:26 PMI finally figured it out. JC's telling Nathan, "If that guy would stop pointing that camera at me, I could scratch my nads."
Posted by: mmmarkiep at March 3, 2005 04:48 PMmmmarkiep - OK, you got me! I laughed until I had tears rolling down my cheeks over that one. Good work!
Posted by: BadAndy48 at March 3, 2005 04:55 PMEven though i am thouroughly commited to Jesse Crain..My eye has wandered to J.RO...(JC Romero) Thanks for the sweet pic with him and Joe Nathan and for the shot of J.Ro's sweet ass
And look at Augie asking Lew if those shorts make his ass look big!
Posted by: mmmarkiep at March 3, 2005 04:58 PM
Not that I'm much of a particpant in the ongoing butt conversations, but after the shot of Romero, I would venture that in all future communications, Batgirl and others should refer to the lefty as J-Ro (per the musings of Bojangles Crain).
Now, back to baseball.
Posted by: RonDavis at March 3, 2005 05:07 PMJ-Ro, that's funny. I like that.
Posted by: Pepper at March 4, 2005 08:19 AMI am very happy and honored that the mighty bat girl has added J.Ro the wonderful world of the twins dictionary... We have to thank Jennifer Lopez this one time... And no..i will not charge royalties for the use of it. ;)
Posted by: Bojangles Crain at March 4, 2005 06:15 PMDearest Mrs. Crain,
Thank you. It is a wonderful appellage.
Gratefully,
BG
