Mo' Money for Rad Brad?

From the PiPress

The Twins, who initially offered free agent pitcher Brad Radke a two-year, $14 million contract, have made the veteran starter a three-year, $20 million offer.

The two sides remain far apart, though. Best bet is that if Radke signs with the Twins, it will be for three years and something in the $27 million range.

Batgirl- Can you get BK3 to work on TR and Radke too? I like Koskos and all, but starting pitching is really important, and Brad was Rad all year and I feel that in order to fourpeat and possibly win it all, we need him, and we need him a lot more than Cordel.
I mean, Radke doesn't even need bionic parts to be good-he just has that superbly accurate change up, and I'd hate to see him go somewhere else, like Boston, or heaven forbid, the Jankees, as my Panamanian friend calls them.
Plus he's Supernatural's mentor-kinda like Obi Wan to his Luke-and we wouldn't want to split them up-it's a lot easier to beat Darth Thomas when they're working together.
TR-Sign BRAD!

Tbird-
Shall we get together and have a little chat with TR? Yes, I want to see Koskie back. But I want to see Bradke back even more.

I would also wish BK3 would focus on BRADKE...I would like Koskie back..but not as much as radke...The twins must remember the key is pitching and without Radke this could be our rotation...Santana...AWESOME....Silva....Meh..you do good...Lohse...NO DON'T GIVE THE BALL TO HIM...and possibly Joe Mays...who was awesome when he's not injured or what have u. The only prayer i have at night is...Please TR....Do what you can for Radke....You need him..I need him...The Batlings need him and every other god willing twins fan needs him

Bradke must remain a Twin. That's all there is to it. The end of baseball as we know it will be Brakde with another team. He IS a Twin.

...Speaking of Twins at heart- Anyone else catch Dougie on the Kent Hrbek Outdoor Show Sunday night? He was looking mighty fine catching fish.

3 years 27 million.....hmmmm.... with that salary maybe Radke can help feed one of Spreewell's children.

If Kris Benson can get $22+ million, Brad Radke is worth at least $25 million for 3 years. There is no comparison, Benson is mediocre at best, while Brad is a solid starter. Brad will take a little less to stay in Minnesota, but won't be insulted with a poor offer. Let's get it done T.R. !!!

soccerfan- LOL! What is Sprewell feeding his kids, I have to wonder?

Posted by: Stacy at November 30, 2004 10:55 PM

Stacy- Spree is clearly feeding them thousand dollar bills. Kids need to eat their greens...

or

Spree is spending so much $ on his hairstyle that he doesn't have enough for his kids. Will someone please, pleeaase explain Spree and Troy Hudson's pigtails?
