Where's the B.O.D?

The B.O.D.S.H.C. has fled the country, and won't return until at least one official Boyfriend gets off the disabled list. But that doesn't mean we can't declare honorary B.O.D's...certainly yesterday's should be Terrance John Mulholland. And as for today's...Batgirl declares Mr. Justin Morneau the Honorary Boyfriend of the Day.

Hot damn! That kid hits like he has a tennis racket tied to his bat.

How much do we pay doug?

Morneau is hot.

Doug who? What can we get for a leather-slinger who barely hits his own weight? I say on with the Justin movement and let Doug eat cake.

I couldn't agree more. First base defence is traditionally a low priority and if we can get this kind of offensive production from Morneau, then fish with him and force Doug to cut bait.

Hmm maybe if we tied Doug together with Jacque, Resto and Ryan along with Adam Johnson we could get something decent.

Dear readers,

Batgirl remains confident that Mr. Mientkiewicz will right himself, but she believes Mr. Morneau could DH most days and make opposing teams feel very, very bad about themselves.

Sincerely,
Batgirl

Shouldn't it be DR. Mourneau. You know how sensitive these doctor types can be. Just a thought. Or is it just a nickname and not extend to a title? How totally confusing.

I have to agree with you, Batgirl. Douglas Andrew is coming around with the bat. At least he was until he was struck in the wrist. He's taking this month as a starting over month. So far so good. As for Justin, Gardy wants to keep him up in the majors even after Dougie comes back. Not a bad idea if you ask me. I think Morneau would be the perfect DH.
Us being a defensive team I think we need Doug out there. I remember a game the other day when Morneau missed a short hop on a throw and the runner went all the way to third. I know that was easy as anything to Doug. Should have been an out. Morneau's more of a bat dude, DH fits him best.
