BULLPEN IDOL

Well, in the wake of recent events, now seems a good time to, um, eliminate the next, um, contestant in BULLPEN IDOL, whoever, um, that contestant might be.

To prevent shenanagins, the poll is set to allow one vote per person per day. Please vote for the pitcher you want to keep in BULLPEN IDOL. The pitcher with the lowest number of votes will be voted out of the bullpen!

Voting will close Wednesday morning.

I love Aaron like a brother, but I have to ask...how did he make it this far?

Dear Mr. Berry,

As you may recall, Mr. Fultz was actually quite good up until about a week ago. I think maybe the BULLPEN IDOL pressure got to him.

Sincerely,
Batgirl

p.s. Good luck in the voting!

Batgirl,

Does the administrative staff at BULLPEN IDOL hope to crown a winner before the All Star break?

Thanks, Mrs. Bat. Looking ahead to the finals, I see myself probably having the same fate as Clay. I'm the underdog, and will probably lose to the big, heavy favorite. But with Joe-Joe (did you know we now have 3 guys Gardy calls Joe-Joe?) throwing more violently and also having some injury history, I very well may have a longer, more lucrative, career.

Dear Mr. Florida,

That seems like a good idea. What do you think?

Sincerely,
Batgirl

I'm still rather disapppointed that you didn't include the Hemi-drivin' Bear. I think he would be a rather incredible power pitcher and he looks like he throws a mean knuckle ball too.

Batgirl,

I think it's crucial to wrap up BULLPEN IDOL before the Yankees play the National League. We all know BULLPEN IDOL has been a huge hit. Now everyone in the BatReadership is giddy with anticipation as they wonder who will be the contestants in BULLPEN IDOL 2. Will it be the starting rotation? Or, better yet, the starting lineup? I, for one, hope the sequel arrives very soon.

Fondly,
FL
