Batgirl reader Eric of The Baseball Boys comments that Lew Ford looks a great deal like Lindsay Whalen. Batgirl has to agree. They could marry and make genetically superior super-children, and they'd never have to worry about which parent the kids looked like.
el diablo actually doesn't think that Lindsey Whalen looks like Lew Ford though el diablo does think Lindsey Whalen would make a great Girlfriend Of The Day.
el diablo also thinks the Lynx should have given away the store to get her.

Theyeti, reaching this thread late, feels compelled to point out that had the Lynx given away the store, Lindsay would be frustrated on a losing basketball team for the next 3 years and probably go away. As it is now, she'll be on a mediocre team for a couple years, then come back to a winning team here. So as painful as it is to say, the Lynx made the right decision.
And, it's now obvious that had we drafted her, Lew Ford wouldn't be able to walk 90 feet without being swarmed, and the last thing we need a mob of autograph-seekers putting someone on the DL. And Lew would have to take timeout from the cage to work on his jump shot and all that confusion would just be an overall bad situation.
